A Silvorious original, handcrafted in India. Firoza takes the Urdu name for turquoise, and the stone sits exactly where the eye lands: a pear-shaped cabochon, veined through with its own dark matrix, bezel-set at the tip of an openwork silver teardrop. The frame above it is drawn in twisted rope wire, edged with clusters of hand-set granulation, and finished with a pair of scrolls that curl in on themselves. The whole piece is oxidised, so the recesses hold shadow while the beadwork keeps the light. At 3.20 g on slim French hooks it is barely there on the ear. A genuinely one-of-a-kind piece: only one pair is made and available.
