Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information Silvorious collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We don't sell personal data.

1. Who is responsible

Web Seasoning, a sole proprietorship, of 20/122, Kaveri Path, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302020, India (“Silvorious”, “we”), is responsible for your personal data. Contact: contact@silvorious.com.

2. What we collect, and why

When you buy something

• Your name, email, phone and delivery address; the pieces you ordered, the amount and currency; payment references from PayU or PayPal (never your card details); and, if you came through a creator's link or used their code, which creator.
• Why: to take payment, make and deliver your order, keep you informed about it, handle exchanges, returns and refunds, credit the right creator, and keep the records tax law requires.

If you sign up to the newsletter

• Your email address. Why: to tell you about new pieces. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.

If you email us

• Your message and anything you include in it, kept on our own mail server so we can reply and follow up.

When you browse

• Your country, not your address. To show prices in your currency, we look up which country your IP address belongs to, on our own server. We don't keep your IP address for this.
• Our own visit counts. Where we count visits ourselves, we keep your IP address only as a salted one-way scramble, which can't be turned back into the address.
• Google Analytics. The pages you view, the products you look at or add to your bag, and orders placed — their value and items, never your name, email, phone or address. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Analytics only runs if you agree; everywhere else it's on unless you switch it off under Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
• Cookies and browser storage — listed in section 7.

If you're a Silvorious creator

• Your name, email and Google sign-in ID; your code, discount and commission settings; the visits and orders credited to you; and, so that we can pay you, your UPI ID, and your PAN and GSTIN where tax rules need them.
• Why: to run the programme, pay your commission and meet the tax obligations on those payments. We use your PAN, GSTIN and UPI ID for nothing else.

3. The legal basis we rely on (for customers in the EU and UK)

• Contract — to process and deliver your order.
• Legal obligation — to keep tax and accounting records.
• Consent — for the newsletter and for analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, count visits in the privacy-protecting way described above, and alert ourselves to new orders so we can dispatch them promptly.

4. Who we share it with

Only what each needs to do its job:

• PayU (India) — rupee payments: your name, email, phone and the amount.
• PayPal — payments in other currencies: your name, delivery address and the amount; PayPal also collects the details you give it directly.
• OVH (France) — hosts our website and database.
• Resend (USA) — sends our order emails.
• Meta, through WhatsApp — when you order, we send ourselves a WhatsApp alert containing your order number, name, city, the pieces and the total.
• Google — Analytics, as described above; and Google sign-in for creators.
• Our courier partners — your name, address and phone, to deliver your order.
• Authorities — where the law requires it.

5. Where your data is kept

Our website and database are hosted in France, in the European Union. Some of the services above process data in India, the United States and elsewhere.

6. How long we keep it

• Orders: 8 years, because tax law requires us to keep sales records.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Emails you send us: 2 years after the conversation ends, unless they concern an order.
• Analytics: 14 months.
• Creators: while you're in the programme, then for as long as tax law requires for the payments made to you.

7. Cookies and browser storage

Needed for the shop to work — these are always on:

Analytics — optional. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these are only set if you agree; everywhere else you can switch them off. Change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it;
• delete it — except what we must keep by law, such as order records for tax;
• stop sending you marketing, at any time.

In India, you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Email contact@silvorious.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India — or, if you're in the EU or UK, to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

The whole site uses HTTPS. Card details go straight to PayU or PayPal and never reach us. Access to customer data is limited to the people who run Silvorious, and the admin area requires sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

10. Children

Silvorious isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also make it clear on the site. See also our Terms of service.
