Silvorious designs and hand-makes its own jewellery in 925 sterling silver. We are based in Jaipur, India, and we started in 2026. Every piece on this site is made by us and sold by us — there is no middleman, no marketplace, and no third-party seller between you and the person who made your jewellery.

Most of what we make, we make once

Look through the collection and you will see the same line on most pages: one of a kind — only one made and available. That is literal. Pieces are made in ones and twos, not production runs, so when something sells it is usually gone for good. Stones are chosen individually, which means two pieces of the same design are never quite identical — the veining in a turquoise cabochon or the depth of an amethyst is particular to the stone in front of us.

It also means we weigh and describe each piece honestly. Where a necklace is 25.20 g, the page says 25.20 g. Where stone placement varies slightly between pieces, the page says that too.

Why Jaipur

Jaipur has been a centre for silver and coloured stones for generations. It is where the gemstones are cut, where the silversmiths are, and where the techniques we use have been practised long enough to be ordinary. Working here means we can sit with a stone before deciding what it should become, rather than ordering components and assembling them.

How the pieces are made

Everything begins as 925 sterling silver. From there the finish depends on the piece:

• Oxidised silver — deliberately darkened so the recesses hold shadow and the raised work stands out.
• Gold-plated silver — a warm surface over solid sterling, not gold-coloured base metal.
• Rhodium-plated silver — a brighter, harder white finish that resists tarnish.

The detailing is hand work: granulation, where tiny silver beads are set one at a time along an edge; twisted rope borders and scrollwork; hammering, which is why no two flower petals in a pair sit at exactly the same angle; and bezel-setting, where a collar of silver is worked around a stone to hold it rather than gluing or clawing it in place.
