A Silvorious original, handcrafted in India. Jheel means lake, and the drop is shaped like the water it is named for: a faceted blue chalcedony briolette, milky and translucent, wire-wrapped at the top so it swings free rather than sitting locked in a bezel. Above it a domed silver disc is pierced right the way through with scrolling vines, so light passes behind the metal as well as across it. The silver is rhodium-plated — a hard white finish that keeps sterling from tarnishing, so the brightness lasts rather than dulling in a drawer. At 4.65 g on slim French hooks, this is a quiet piece next to our chandelier work, and an easy one to wear all day. A genuinely one-of-a-kind piece: only one pair is made and available.
