A Silvorious original, handcrafted in India. Nisha means night, and these pearls carry a night sky in them — black freshwater pearls with a peacock sheen that turns violet, green and inky blue as they move. They are wired one by one along a gold chain to the toggle, which is not hidden at the back but worn at the front as the centrepiece: through it falls a length of chain ending in a single large baroque pearl, uncut and irregular, no two of its kind alike. The lariat drop swings below the collarbone line of the 17-inch strand. At 25.20 g this is the most substantial necklace we make. Worked in gold-plated 925 sterling silver. A genuinely one-of-a-kind piece: only one is made and available.
