Barkha means monsoon rain, and the necklace wears exactly like it sounds: a line of faceted amethyst pears, each in its own slim silver bezel, hanging at intervals from a fine sterling chain like drops caught mid-fall. They swing independently as you move, throwing small purple lights against the skin. The chain is bright, unplated 925 sterling silver — our first piece in plain silver — and runs 18 inches, sitting at the collarbone. At 8.7 g it has presence without weight.
